Welcome to the Central Coast

Quench your thirst for the outdoors in California’s Central Coast. Making up over 350 miles of beaches, shorelines and coastal cliffs, nature enthusiasts are able to partake in a variety of water and land activities. Whether you are kayaking down the coast or touring one of the many state or national parks, there’s something for everyone.

Start your day with a pick me up from one of the local coffee shops, then rent a bike to pedal the Bob Jones Bike Trail along the San Luis Obispo Creek. While you’re in the area, check out the restaurants and shops downtown. Other famous Central Coast shops to look out for are Bart’s Books, an outdoor bookstore, and Tinker Toys - a local shop that’s sure to delight the kids!

Learn more about California’s rich history with a tour of one of the 11 missions spread throughout the coastal area. Or, have a taste of wine country by sampling some pinot grigio and chardonnay from one of the area's local wineries. Spend some time relaxing in one of the luxurious spa’s, like the European-inspired spa at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort.

We had the most amazing time thanks to the fantastic camper we hired from Rick and Sue. Being free to decide where we stopped made the tour so enjoyable.
