Northern Arizona

Rent an RV and explore Arizona

Welcome to Northern Arizona

Few regions can match the sprawling beauty of Northern Arizona. The varying landscapes paint a scene of pure Americana wildlife, ranging from snowy mountain peaks to pine-laden forestry to red desert rocks. You can experience the highs and lows of the region (literally!) by hiking Humphrey’s Peak, the largest mountain in Arizona, and then touring the depths of the majestic Grand Canyon.

Take a walk through history at the Museum of Northern Arizona, which touches on the multiple cultures of the region. Learn about the lives of the ancient peoples all the way through to modern day communities. Explore a new culture by visiting the many American Indian reservations where you can learn about the lives and history of the Navajo, Hopi and Apache people. With a region rich in history and culture, there is always something new to experience.

Once you’ve had a full day of hiking, sight-seeing and history, enjoy dinner at one of the many prestigious restaurants throughout the region. Then, test your gaming skills at some of the popular casinos, like the luxurious Twin Arrows Casino Resort or the Hon-Dah Resort Casino and Conference Center. If you’re lucky enough to vacation here, then you may just be lucky enough to win big!

Plan your trip with Mighway and let the journey unfold.

Grand Canyon Village

One of the first places that come to mind when imagining Arizona is the world famous Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon Village sits on the southern rim of the National Park. Whether you’re staying for a few hours or a few days, you can make yourself comfortable at any of the local restaurants. Take some time to do some shopping for Native American crafts as souvenirs.

Flagstaff

No matter what time of year you are visiting, Flagstaff provides the perfect scenery for your vacation. You can hike the tallest point of Arizona at Humphrey’s Peak, or enjoy a day at the slopes in the snow-covered mountaintops. For a bit of history, visit the Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument to see remnants of volcanic eruption that dates back nearly 100 years.

Petrified Forest

Take a step back in history at the Petrified Forest National Park, where the 200 million year old fossils paint a picture of prehistoric life in these ancient woods. You can enjoy a hike through the forest by foot or by steed. If you plan on visiting for a few days, you can opt for an overnight backpacking trip through the forest or stay in one of the nearby villages or camping parks.
