Aurora is more than just a breathtakingly beautiful place to visit and enjoy the outdoors. There’s a little something for everyone in this city, be it fashion, fine dining or getting up close and personal with the wildlife. Far from the unventured wilderness some people think of when they consider Colorado, Aurora is the 19th most populated metropolitan area in the entire United States. With all those people comes a lot of culture, art and nightlife to enjoy. So, if you’ve been considering something out of the ordinary to do with your RV, give Aurora a second thought. The Historic Fox Theatre and Arts Center puts on award-winning, live shows. If music is more your fancy, don’t miss the Aurora Symphony Orchestra. Depending on the occasion, you might catch a full symphonic performance, or a smaller chamber ensemble. Station 26 Brewing Company is the go-to spot for home-brews in the city, while the Bull and Bush Pub and Brewery offer a relaxed, pub style atmosphere. If you want to have a fun and quirky shopping experience, don’t miss Stanley Marketplace. Originally a co-op, the market, established in the 1970’s, has developed into a neighborhood fixture. Business meetings, community activities, food vendors and urban marketers all operate under its roof. Giddy on up to a horse ride through 12-mile stables, take in a few rounds at any of Aurora’s six golf courses or try your hand at paddle boarding at Cherry Creek State Park. Whatever outdoor activity suits you, you’re going to find it here! If you’re just seeking some good old retail therapy, Aurora has you covered there, too. Arapahoe Crossing is home to 460,000 square feet of retail space and a movie theater. Or, take a stroll down On Havana Street, which is almost five full miles of stores, boutiques and a few quaint restaurants to take a break in between store stops. Lastly, what would a visit to Aurora be without at least a glimpse of the famed wildlife? The Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge is home to hundreds of amazing animals and natural plants, protected on a 15,000-acre site consisting of wetland, prairie and woodland. You’re allowed to drive through the park, with sight parks situated regularly for viewing. All in all, a perfect way to glimpse some of Colorado’s natural beauty, from the comfort of your RV.

The #1 Denver Haunted Houses in the Denver Metro Area, and voted as one of the top 13 haunted houses in the nation. So what makes The 13th Door such a good haunted house? First it's the actors. No matter how great you build a haunted house, it really comes down to the people delivering the scares. High-tech effects, lights and sounds help, but they are not a substitute for a live person when it comes to surprising you. The 13th Door has great actors. It really means a lot to us that people keep coming year after year and typically many times each year to see the hard work and great entertainment that is served at The 13th Door haunted house. What started out a just a bunch of friends getting together to try something fun, has transformed itself into a Denver haunted house landmark.
