Our lovely comfortable motorhome is just over 5 years old now, but still has very low mileage (28,000ks) and has been well maintained since new, We bought it in the UK where we cruised round for three months, then shipped the van out to NZ. We are soon off to the UK for a few months so thought it would be a good idea to let others enjoy the NZ experience. The van handles like a dream, has an excellent turning circle and (once things like the grill pan, bottles etc are stored properly) , offers only the quietest murmur from the fixtures and fittings when on the road. Heaps of storage room. Of course it helps that the permanent double bed is left made up so duvet and pillows live on the bed, need to find space for bedding, but there really is plenty of storage for clothes, provisions etc The driver's and passenger seats swivel around facing the settee to make a very convivial spacious seating area . Great to relax in after a days travelling. The bathroom (en-suite) has overhead locker to store toiletries with mirror light, small shower, vanity and toilet. Water is heated via the diesel heater. Heater runs quietly through out van taking off that morning and evening chill. Galley is well equipped and has 3 burner gas hob, gas oven/grill, large fridge with separate freezer which runs automatically off gas or mains electricity, stainless steel sink is small and both hob & sink have glass tops. Van is very light and airy with 3 roof hatches over lounge, kitchen and bathroom (Don't forget to close before you take off in the morning!!) Lighting is excellent with LED strips, spot lights and even outdoor light. Also we added cup holders around lounge & bed area somewhere to put your drink down (very useful) and TV is on bedroom wall or swings around to watch in lounge area. The van is powered by a 3litre, 4cyl diesel engine which has heaps of grunt and makes driving very easy with the 6 speed automatic gearbox, plus cruise control. Air conditioning in the cab for those hot summer days. There are 2 house batteries and a solar panel for that freedom camping. We hope you will enjoy our van as much as we have and the Crowe's Nest takes you on your next NZ experience. HAVE FUN!!!
