Meet Sylvie, She's our lovely silver 1.8L Mazda Bongo camper van (you can view a quick video tour of Sylvie here: https://vimeo.com/214639757 ) Silv is automatic with great power-steering, making her dead-easy to drive (just like driving a car). She'll happily cruise along doing 100k's with no trouble. She's also pretty youthful with low mileage, meaning she's clean, tidy and won't let you down on your trip like older vans can sometimes do. In the back there are two modes, day mode and night mode. In day mode, there's two long seats with comfy upholstered cushions and a worktop at the back which is easily accessible to put drinks on. She's also a high-roofed Bongo, meaning there's plenty of room sit up, even for fairly tall people. In night mode, the two seats turn into a full width double bed which is very comfortable and there's a sliding window on each side helping you stay ventilated. There's also a sliding door on each side of the van, so when you need to visit the campsite facilities in middle of the night you don't have to clamber over anyone else to get out! It's super easy to switch modes and fresh linen and bedding is provided, so when you first park up and set up camp for the night you'll be all set in a couple of minutes. When you open the tailgate at the back, you'll find a fully-equiped kitchen including a gas cooker, sink (including water pump with fresh and grey water tanks) and a fridge which runs off the battery when in motion and connects to 240v electric hookup when at a campsite. There's two storage cupboards in the back under the benches, and within those you'll find two camping chairs and a small table, meaning you can cook up a storm and then dine outside under the stars. In the front she has two comfortable seats and a large arm-rest / storage section in the middle. There's electric windows and central locking to make things more convenient and there's also a USB charging port so you can charge your phones no problem. Here's a list of everything that's included: - Fridge - Gas cooker - Sink with water pump and fresh / grey water tanks - 2 x pots and 1x frying pan - Cutlery & crockery - An assortment of basic foods e.g salt and pepper, cooking oil, tea and coffee - 2x camping chairs - Fold-up dining table - Electric hookup cable (gives you 240v power at campsites) - USB charging port - Clean sheets, double duvet and two pillows Normal pick up is from Mt Albert but we can also arrange for pick ups / drop offs within the CBD or out at the airport (depending on times). Any questions, just drop us a message on here. We aim to get back straightaway during the day. :-) You can also view a quick video tour of Sylvie here: https://vimeo.com/214639757 Cheers, Andy & Cindy. **We're happy to do discounts for longer term rentals - the amount depends on dates though so just ask!**
