This is a new Thames-Coromandel District Council designated freedom campsite that came into effect from the 1st of December, 2014. Self contained vehicles (that can show they comply with NZS 5465:2001) can stay here for a maximum of two consecutive nights, departing no latter than 9am. 4 closely spaced carparks allocated for free camping at one end of the car park
