Ward is a small town in Marlborough, New Zealand, with a population of about 900 residents. It is located on State Highway 1, 82 kilometres (51 mi) north of Kaikoura. The Flaxbourne River flows past to the north and into the Pacific Ocean to the south-east of Ward. A current initiative aims to have the town renamed as Flaxbourne.

Join us for a not-to-be-missed tour through Marlborough’s world famous wine region and sample the well-known Sauvignon Blancs with other like-minded wine tasters, while enjoying the fantastic panoramic landscapes.
Our wine tours operate seven days a week and we are flexible with start / finish times.
Daily group wine tours are in one of our 11-seater air-conditioned coaches with a choice of start times. The earlier start times of 10am or 11.30am allow you a lunch break during the tour to enjoy a winery lunch (at your cost).
We provide door-to-door pick ups from your accommodation in Blenheim, Picton and Havelock. Additional charges apply for pick ups beyond Blenheim. If you are staying in Picton or Havelock, the additional charge per booking is $30.
We discuss with our guests their taste in wine and select the wineries to visit. To keep the day relaxed and flexible, we aim to visit 5 – 6 wineries during the day with a lunch stop at one of Marlborough’s favourite family owned Winery Café / Restaurants.

Our hassle free, Eco Friendly sea kayak tours offer a safe, enjoyable, interactive experience with little effort and a whole lot of good fun. You can also hire sea kayaks from us. Have the freedom of discovering the Kaikoura Peninsula and its marine life by hiring one of our top quality sea kayaks. We will set you up in the best area for paddling.
A very small and nice campground with great, clean facilities and very friendly owners. We paid 14 NZD per person (non-power). There is also a petrol station with a cafe nearby where you can get an absolutely delicious breakfast and very good burgers. Enjoy!
