In amongst the varied and vibrant sea life found off Kaikoura is the spectacular dusky dolphin, found in pods of up to several hundred strong and one of the most delightfully exuberant characters of the Southern Ocean.

Cullen Point Coastal Track Time: 1 hr loop This beautiful loop track takes in the views of Pelorus Sound and the Havelock Township.
Cullen Point Lookout Track Time: 10 min return This short walk leads to a lookout, giving views of Mahau Sound, as well as Kaituna and Pelorus estuaries. The tracks start from a well-marked car park located 5.5 km down Queen Charlotte Drive from Havelock Township.

Whilst we are delivering, you’ll visit isolated homesteads nestled in quiet secluded bays. View mussel farms and see why Pelorus Sound is the mussel capital of the world. Old timers row out in dinghies to meet us, while some receive their supplies on tiny, unspoilt beaches. Join us for a not-to-be-missed tour through Marlborough’s world famous wine region and sample the well-known Sauvignon Blancs with other like-minded wine tasters, while enjoying the fantastic panoramic landscapes.
Our wine tours operate seven days a week and we are flexible with start / finish times.
Daily group wine tours are in one of our 11-seater air-conditioned coaches with a choice of start times. The earlier start times of 10am or 11.30am allow you a lunch break during the tour to enjoy a winery lunch (at your cost).
We provide door-to-door pick ups from your accommodation in Blenheim, Picton and Havelock. Additional charges apply for pick ups beyond Blenheim. If you are staying in Picton or Havelock, the additional charge per booking is $30.
We discuss with our guests their taste in wine and select the wineries to visit. To keep the day relaxed and flexible, we aim to visit 5 – 6 wineries during the day with a lunch stop at one of Marlborough’s favourite family owned Winery Café / Restaurants.

Waves Campsite in Havelock is located in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Marlborough region and offer you a perfect stop-over or longer stay.
Being about one hour from the interisland ferry, we are ideally situated for when you land on the South Island and want to clear the port and settle down to prepare for your South Island trip.
Likewise on your return trip back to the North Island, you can stay over with us and then leave to catch your ferry with only a short journey.
