Classics of the Sky Airshow
Classic Flyers are thrilled to announce the Royal New Zealand Air Force will deploy the Black Falcons aerobatic team to the third annual Tauranga City Air Show. Amongst an excellent line-up of ex-military and aerobatic aircraft will be another crowd favourite; the “Roaring Forties” Harvard aerobatic team, with their trade mark spinning propeller “snarl”. Steve Geard, of international aerobatic fame, will once more impress with his Yak 55M, performing unbelievable stunts and racing a car on the runway too. You'll find these spectacular sights and so much more at this afternoon and evening family fun event. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own picnic or they can purchase food and drink from the many food vendors on site.
The Airshow is a great opportunity to get out on an awesome summer road trip around the Bay of Plenty. Taking a campervan on holiday is an awesome way to experience New Zealand up close and personal, getting closer with nature and locals. We've picked out a few vehicles around Tauranga for you to have a look at, as well as some handy articles from our blog to give you a hand planning your holiday.
