There is plenty to love about autumn in New Zealand, and from March to May the season is in full swing. You’ll see a colourful dusting of leaves on the streets, ranging from vibrant oranges to reds and browns. The air is refreshing at around 15-20 degrees, but there is still plenty of sunshine hours for you to enjoy. A popular walk is the Queen Charlotte Track, which stretches for 71 km between Queen Charlotte Sound and Kenepuru Sound. It is the perfect walk for the autumn months, as the track is less crowded.
