The Taranaki Falls in Tongariro National Park is a great place to start. It’s just a short hike to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area.

Want to get a little lost in the woods? Take a trip over to Levin in Manawatu-Wanganui to take a tranquil hike through the woods, and some of the most captivating natural greenery the region. Take a hike up the Kohitere Trig to the top of a hill where you can take in breathtaking views of the lake below.
