Luxury RV Parks Near Orlando, Florida
Orlando is one of the most visited places in entire the world. In 2017, it’s estimated that over 70 million people visited this Florida hotspot. With destinations like Disney World, Universal, Seaworld and Legoland, it’s easy to see why so many people visit each year.
This influx of tourists means it can be hard sometime to know exactly where to stay. However, if you’ve rented an RV from Mighway, the good news is that Orlando is full of luxury RV resorts for you to stay there and visit in style. Here are some of our favorites:
Located just 15 minutes from Disney World, Orlando RV Resort comes with all the amenities you would expect from a premium RV resort. Located on a 60-acre spring-fed lake, this resort offers a wide variety of recreational activities. In addition to what you would expect on a lake, you can find such things as a whirlpool, hot tub, bike trails, shuffleboard, mini golf and volleyball.
An on-site restaurant and store mean that, no matter if you want to do the cooking, or you want someone else to do it for you, you don’t have to go far. And wifi means you can always stay connected.
You can’t get far in discussion about top-notch campgrounds without mentioning a KOA. KOA has spent decades building a reputation as a campground that’s always worth staying at. With all of the perks and amenities you’ve come to expect, this KOA also has the benefits of being located close to three of the four major theme parks in the Orlando area — 15 minutes to both Universal and Seaworld, and less than 10 to Disney!
If you’re interested in Orlando, but not quite as worried about theme park proximity, Winter Garden RV Resort is a perfect destination. Located slightly north of Orlando close to Lake Apopka, this pet-friendly resort also comes packed with things to do for young and old visitors alike. Enjoy a nice game of billiards, get on the court for a quick pick-up game of basketball or just hang out and relax at the clubhouse.
Our last resort on this list is located south of Orlando, which puts it very close (about five minutes) away from Legoland. Pet-friendly, and surrounded by plenty of shopping, golf, theaters and other activities, this resort is perfect whether you’re staying for the weekend or for the season.
Regardless of why you’re going, there are plenty of great places to stay in Orlando – including waterfront campgrounds. And there’s no better way to get there than through an RV rented through Mighway! Check out our Orlando road trip itinerary for some trip ideas too.
